Hello minna-san~ now NeedMoarNura have 100 followers,so I am really happy that you guys support my blog :) and oh some announcements for my side. I would be in N.Y and washigation DC for 3 weeks til Jan 2 2012.

So very excited~~~

So I will not be covering the last 2 episodes til I come back. So be patient my beloved minna-san~

Episode 24:The Banquet of Darkness

I think blasting “In the hall of the mountain king.” is pretty apt for that episode. Anyway that Seimei is pretty much a troll beisdes that creepo eye dude. 

As the list of failure for villains,he revealed their secret plan. (Killing our hawt nidame-san QAQ was that crazy plan) and a deep deep secret for Hagoromo (I would not reveal to you guys watch it).

For seiyuu-wise. I think Yamabuki’s voice is quite good as that demure ayakeshi-san and waifu to our Nidame. (Is it Mariko-san?) 

I am glad that DEEN added some moar rabu for the rest of his clan. How many of you guys think that Hitosume *yes that crazy troll from season 1 minna-san* is super cool with his gun movements? I do.

Of course lots of Nidame love is sufficient to cause excessive nosebleeds for me. Well I just love that part when Rihan tried to convince his father for Yamabuki XD (His face is perfect reaction GIF :P)

Abe no Seimei’s moves are pretty BAMf here. I hate to admit but it’s pretty cool.

Now for my thoughts

Good:Moar love for the Nura clan,Lots of Nidame-san (Who is alive) moments and great animation.

Bad:Not that much,maybe the Viz translation make me laugh with Propagate XD. It sounds pretty wrong

Rating:5 scares-This is the moment of tension,lots of Rihan hotness (for me). I would have play Ode To Joy now for that pure awesomeness. Thank you Deen-san!

Hey Minna-san,holidays are coming up soon eh? So I wish all of my American followers a rather belated thanksgiving! Anyway,I am free from school-woots! Hope you guys hang there for the most beautiful delivery which will screw the world.

Episode 22:Birth

Anyway the Nura Clan and the Keikans came a wee bit too late as ‘their long-standing wish’ is born. Well it’s no happy baby shower for the family as we expects tons of betrayals and le gasps.

Yup good news,that we spotted Rikuo’s commandoes getting the spotlight which was very nice. I think I spotted our fave red-hooded BAMF along. And oh old enemies are working together:seems that Itaku have a soft side over Kubinashi *hurr-hurr*

Spoiler Alert:

I have that feeling that Kitsune Baba somehow recalled our hottie Rihan but she is manipulated by that creepo.

Tsuchi-Gomo is gonna die anytime too

Anything else-I love Ryuji’s (Our resident troll and fellow tsun-tsun~) attack animation here. I think it’s pretty cool, and following by Kidomaru’s (RIP dude) swansong to protect his mistress. 

Is it me or she (Hagoromomo) went to maho shojou after the birth? Seriously what’s that? And yes her nudity is tastefully censored by art nouveauish hair and random light spots XD

Overall I enjoyed it greatly especially the cliff-hanger-what’s the creepy eye dude’s paws.

My thoughts

Good:Great action.Great animation and Great suspense.

Bad:That extreme WTH moment when Hagoromo became Mahou Shoujo for me

Rating:4 1/2 scares-things are really hitting up…Great job Studio DEEN guys :) and yes very interested how Rikuo defeats Hagoromo.

Episode 21:The Cycle of Rebirth

My god I say it was the most B.A yet beautiful epiosde. I could say it’s drool-worthy that I could eat it XD

Well Rikuo’s Hyakki Youkai reached Nijo Castle (Hagoromo’s birth place) but however they sorta reached that place too late. Now Hagoromo gonna pop (Not good) and don’t forget Kidomaru and his ‘Rashomon’ attack to prevent our beloved heroes to kick some a** .

Damn it DEEN,Damn it! Your ink animations are so beautiful especially the matoi with Kurotabou and Kidomaru’s attack. UNF~ I just died from ‘Inkgasm’ from it. I think they are taking the style of Nura and translate so beautifully here. I could just die from it.

Well things are picking up so nicely,love that cliffhanger of Kidomaru’s attack to Kurotabou-matoi!Rikuo and

Spolier coming up

yes I am glad that they managed to squeeze the Seimei flashaback nicely and admit that Seimei’s voice is pretty good. Of course you see why the Kyoto Baddies are so obsessed with Nue’s birth.

Well…the Viz subs are stupid again especially Kurotabou’s attack…man can you keep the jap term please.

In summary

Good:Awesome.Awesome.Awesome. Dat ink-style animations-can I just die now? It’s amazing

Bad:amidst translation issues-it’s nothing I could complain on.

rating:5 Scares-Damn it-to me it was UNF~ The animations are awesome and story is going by. Looking forward for next week’s episode! Who would win the Nura clan or the Kyoto clan.

Episode 20-A Bond Of Trust

Ohayou minna-san~ Hope your week is good cuz holidays are coming really soon. Last Saturday was pretty packed for me as I was the P.A for AFA 2011 (A big anime con in my country Singapore) running around,managing the stage area. For those who came to AFA,I hope you have fun whenever you are cosplaying or simply go there to experience all things anime! Unfortunately I did not get to buy some Nura stuff but managed to spot some awesome Nura cosplayers.

Now anyway back to Nura,Rikuo have finally defeated tsuchi-gomo (with some help of rather tsun~ Tsun~ Itaku). Our BAMF ji-chan is back to settle some matters with Hagoromo and the birth of Nue have just started (Labour pains is not a good sign to the rest). I called this the clash of the past and present (we need some BAMF music to go with that title)

I have a feeling that Studio Deen is shipping Itaku/Rikuo Bromance really hard in this episode. Maybe it was that flashbacks there.

Well the 3 highlights for me for this episode.

1. Rikuo’s matoi with Itaku-It was really nicely done. And I love that attack name too :)
2. Young!Nurarihyon is back to confront his enemy of the past and then back to his old form.-Oh you~ being snarly of hagoromo. I think I have nosebleed over that change and boy he look real B.A
3. A mini flashback of Rihan and baby!Rikuo. I remember this so clearly at the PV of Nura. Now it was fulfilled. Kyoto Youkais-as Rihan said “This is War.” Rikuo gonna kick some butt. Period.

Voice-acting is awesome. Jun-san and Itaku’s seiyuu are amazing here. And yes Yusa-san is forever awesome as the hawt Nurarihyon of past ;).

Animation is drool-worthy,especially Itaku’s matoi. And yes the soundtrack was really awesome here-hmm do I have heard that Youen Naru again? 

However the translation of the words (I am watching Viz Media) is a bit off with me. I think they should keep the Jap term:Matoi cuz it sounds odd to me and  wished they use the manga translation “Itaku,be my sword.” because it sounds alot awesome here. Otherwise I don’t have any problems here.

Now for an overview

Good:Rikuo’s matoi with Itaku is awesome like hell. A highlight for me and yes I am glad they got the theme music of Nura back.

Bad:Translation issues. Maybe I am looking at the nitty gritty stuff.

Rating:4 1/2 scares-super awesome. Love the acting,music and animation here. Despite the translation issue for me,I enjoyed it greatly.

Well looks as if Studio DEEN is pulling all stops to make the last 5 episodes awesome. I am even more sastifed each day when I watched a new episode. Keep up the good work Studio Deen

Episode 18:Equipping A Hundred Demons

Hello Minna-san. Well admin-san is pretty busy recently with work(Assessment week for everyone) However I managed to sneak in that episode during my tape rendering (Hurr-Hurr). Well it’s way too awesome. To the review yo~~

Basically Rikuo in training mode with Gyuki (Surprise minna-san we can see our beloved duo <3). Meanwhile the Keikans and the rest of the dispatched Nura Clan have some problems with the birth drawing near. (Not Good)

Of course,the highlight of this episode was the relationship between Zen and Rikuo (Yes you guys…I know I kinda like Zen and Rikuo’s relationship too :3). Who can’t resist seeing Zen in an apron (hurr-hurr) feeding some hungry youkai? I say I love Jun-san and Sujita-san’s interaction here. It makes me love that relationship even moar (not in a creepy yaoi-style though)

The animation again,one of the best episodes aesthatically-wise since episode 2-Their Justice and Kyouka Suigetsu. The animation of Zen’s wings are amazing (it’s so pretty) and yes lots of fans wait for the day when the matoi was animated. It’s frickin’ animated. I think they did a beautiful job on that. It’s perfection. And yes that ink-strokes animations are still awesome than ever. 

Seems that Sennen Makyou have really stepped themselves up as the birth is near-which is good as it get interesting later on.

Now for a rundown of my thoughts

Good:Amazing animation. Lots of Zen love which is nice.

Bad:hmmm…Mamiru looks creeper here  Not much too complain about . It’s pretty good.

Rating: 5 scares-Pretty amazing episode. The animation is pretty amazing here especially the matoi. I am looking forward to the matoi episodes here. Well done.

Episode 16: Descent to the Darkness

Hey my dear minna-san. I am caught with a minor flu-so here I am with quite a sore throat and cough trying to cure herself by watching this awesome episode! 

As the episode title suggests,lots of Beethoven’s 5th symphony musical cues in where Kyoto does not look that too pretty at all with the search for human livers (Ewww…maybe I should stay away from eating livers for now til the end of Nuramago) and as my friend suggested the day when the usually calm and “king of cool.” Kubinashi went berserk. Yes indeed he went super berserk,killing youkais for sheer fun like his past self: “The Stringer of Jonsu.” Now we are in deep *bleep* (I.E the Nura Clan) without any leader as Rikuo is having some intenso “Pai Mei where are you grand master?” training (excuse the lame kill bill reference) Does it sound awfully familiar that we heard of in the manga?? (I will give you a cookie if you guess what I am thinking). Now let’s add some Hagoromo’s little friends to add some chaos… Crap…now what now for the Nura Clan and of course Kyoto’s fate? 

Yes things are getting really dark in here in general. Take that season 1!

Is it me or Sakuraino-san sounds kinda like Maoh!Yuuri (Kyo-Kara-Maoh FTW). Seriously I can’t help but to think of that? Heck it works and yes some BAMF action from him is a nice change from Rikuo’s “kyouka suigetsu”. He kills youkais with a string like a boss man.

For once the spagehtii-western music in Nura was finally used properly. What a relief! It really fits Kubinashi’s mind-state so well:being disillusioned of not protecting Rikuo during Tsuchimgo’s fight. I really like it. Period.

Oh that split-screen ending was pretty awesome as hell. *Whose side are you on? the good guys or the bad?* Well I am placing my bets on Kubinashi and Akifusa (welcome back dude~). Yes that omake of the keikans are adorable <3 Incase you don’t know what’s TKG..I have used mother google and here we go.

Now for the thoughts

Good:What a nice change…things are getting really dark here. I like it. Kubinashi and his BAMFNESS…awesome…It makes it fantatsic. For once the music fits. The omake is awesome as well :3

Bad:Well nothing in general-maybe they should tone down Hagoromo’s sucking the liver part.Excuse me this is not a Yuri anime. Thanks

Rating: 5 Scares-Well things are getting darker here which was good. Director-san managed to do a fab job on Kubinashi’s anguish quite nicely. Well I can’t wait for next week’s battle-this gonna be awesome.

Episode 12:Long Standing wish

Konichiwa minna-san~ How are u guys..Today is starting my awesomesauce break from college (muhaha!) How about some BAMF Nura clan kicking some Kyoto youkai’s butt to start my break?

*add some sass to your dash*

Basically it’s the apolycase day for Kyoto as Hagormo’s hyaku youkai are advancing to their uncertain doom..to well fulfill their wish. (I am not telling you guys as I am giving you a big spoiler) And they are doing things to make the Nura Clan lose their morale…and make those hopeless Keikans to take of Yura-Chan because she was the ‘Chosen one’ ( I am sounding like Hidemoto-chan XD).

One thing I must say: OMG the old-school music is back (I.E This )-I like it so much..I am really glad the composer have chose that because of nostalgic memories of the Nura battles. This is UnF! Anyone of you guys are glad for the revival of this? I am…

Well for all you Shouei and Jami Fans-Celebrate~ They really saved the day for da Nura Clan. I am impressed how awesome-sauce they are yet they are neglected D:

Animation is not so showy unlike the previous episodes with Rikuo’s Kyoukasuigetsu (mycomicbook I know you love that attack and I think these previous episodes amped their B.A with Rikuo’s attack) which is a good balance as I know a certain person who does not like it.  The battles are awesome as usual.

BTW guys they are gonna have another recap episode next week which I kinda loathe (scars for season 1-which I disliked WTH they vomited recap epis-move faster guys.) I may be blogging it…and oh Tsuchimgo look as if he’s gonna kill some people~

Now to my thoughts in general 

Good:OMG thank you guys for putting the old music back. This is the Nura I remembered not the mismatch style we have currently! Quite cool ne~ And oh cheers for unsung heroes like Shoeui and Jami! Give them a glass for saving the day.Battles are awesome as ever..

Bad:Hmmm..I think they toned down the awesome sumi-e animations..come on pump it~ Pump it QAQ

Rating:4 1/2 scares-Nicely done,with great suspense. I love the music here!! Please bring it on the Sumi-e animations cuz I love them. 

Episode 11:Battle above Kyoto

Konbawa minna~ well today I am pretty much relaxed as i finish most of my homework..means giving all you lovelies the most awesomeness review ever <3

Well basically-shifting from the Keikan side,we are having some trouble on the Nura gang. Epic *beep*fight from Itaku and Kubinashi,who are so crazy over Rikuo. And Kiyo’s battle does not help things along at all.

I am extremely sorry if I am gonna freak out like a rabid fangirl..so bear with me guys…

Thank you so much Studio Deen!!!! For once they did not include ‘Murder-Rihan-and-forever-play’ flashbacks. Zen coming back as the puking blood anki! Glad that he is back! My friend and I were wondering where are u? Itaku and Kubinashi’s battle is ultimate perfection as there is the right tension. Rikuo fighting with Kiyo (apologize for his name) is also amazing too with those sweeto animation moments that I nearly forget about the Kyoto Youkai. And personally the best part of that episode….wait for it….. (warning:may contain lots of excessive fangirling..get away if you don’t fangirl hard)

 I get to see Rihan-Sama speaking and I was cjdsbvisabvisdbvuvbsidubv~ I really can’t. Seeing him alive as some handsome commander just make me…

Ok pacing is pretty fast as we are gonna expect a royal rumble anytime! I am happy they kept most of the gags especially our dear Zen-Chan:The blood-puking nagster and I really liked Rikuo’s relaxed personality because he is so cute here. And oh I really like today’s omake alot:The Sanbansu in school uniforms. Awesome.

Now to compose my brain from excessive fangirling-the overview of this really awesome episode…..

Good:Wow things are getting really fast,but it does not mean we are producing horrible crappy episodes. The animation quality is justifiable,not as flashy as Hagun but lovely indded especially Kyoukasuigetsu and great humorous moments. And oh the omake was really good this time

Bad:I can’t comprehend what’s bad in this episode cuz I really enjoyed it that much..My friend seiyuus are a problem but I don’t see it as a hinderence. Oh well we have different opinions.

Rating:5 Stars,welcome back the Nura clan! I really enjoyed that episode a lot. Hilarious with epic awesome battles. And seeing Rihan and Zen just really made my day. That’s what Nurarihyon No Mago is about guys >:D
